Heatwave Set to Return with Scattered Showers
Good news for weather enthusiasts as Met Eireann predicts a return of the heatwave this week. After enduring a dreary period of rainy days, temperatures are expected to soar to nearly 25 degrees. However, there is a catch – the heat will be accompanied by scattered showers, some of which may be heavy. Dubliners can look forward to a dry and sunny day, with temperatures reaching a pleasant 19 to 21 degrees. The evening will be mild and calm, with clear spells. Later in the night, mist and drizzle may develop in certain areas, and nighttime temperatures will range from 10 to 12 degrees.
Cloudy Start with Sunny Breaks
Tomorrow will begin with cloudy skies, bringing patches of mist and drizzle. These will be relatively minor, with warm sunny spells breaking through in the afternoon and evening. Expect a humid day, with temperatures climbing to highs of 20 to 24 degrees. Unfortunately, there is no further forecast available specifically for Dublin. However, Met Eireann’s national outlook provides some insight into the coming days.
Wednesday Night and Thursday
Wednesday night will be very mild and mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to 13 to 16 degrees. Light southeasterly breezes will accompany the pleasant conditions. Thursday will start off very mild and dry, with spells of sunshine. As the day progresses, southeast breezes will freshen, bringing along scattered showers. Despite the showers, temperatures will remain warm where sunshine persists. Towards the evening, rain is likely to develop more widely. The highest temperatures will range from 18 to 24 degrees, with the warmest areas away from the south and southeast.
Blustery Friday with Passing Showers
Friday will be a blustery day, with sunshine and widespread passing showers. Some of these showers may be heavy, particularly in Atlantic counties. Southwest breezes will be fresh and gusty for much of the day. The highest temperatures will range from 17 to 23 degrees, with the east and northeast experiencing the best conditions and the least rainfall.
Unsettled Weekend Ahead
The weekend is expected to be unsettled, with showers or longer spells of rain. Breezy conditions will persist, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds. The eastern regions may experience slightly better weather conditions compared to other areas.
