Antaris, Bank of Ireland, CRY Ireland, Mediolanum Banking Group, Plenary, and Rentokil Initial Ireland have all announced new appointments to their teams.

Eugene Cush has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Antaris, a specialist in ESG, climate change, and ISO management system consultancies and professional training. Cush, who joined Antaris in 2012 as a management systems consultant, has a background in compliance auditing, environmental management, and EHS software. In his new role, he will lead administrative and operational functions at Antaris. Cush holds an MSc in Management Practice from IMI/UCC.

Bank of Ireland has appointed Aoife Leonard as Chief Operating Officer for its Retail Ireland division. Leonard will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Bank of Ireland’s retail business across Ireland. She will also ensure the delivery of strategic and financial planning for the division. With over two decades of experience at Bank of Ireland, Leonard has held senior roles in branch banking, direct channels, operations, and consumer segments. The Retail Ireland business includes approximately 4,000 colleagues, 169 branches, and two large customer support contact centers in Kilkenny and Tallaght.

Kevin O’Dwyer has been appointed to the board of trustees of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) Ireland. CRY Ireland is a charity that supports families who have lost loved ones to Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) and helps those affected by a diagnosis of a cardiac condition. O’Dwyer, a chartered accountant with over 10 years of experience in treasury, risk management, and internal audit, will support the CRY board in realizing strategy, governance, fundraising, and risk management objectives.

Mariagrazia Briganti has been appointed as Head of Marketing and Communications at Mediolanum International Funds Ltd, the Dublin-based European asset management platform of Mediolanum Banking Group. Briganti, who brings 20 years of communications and marketing experience in the funds industry, will oversee integrated marketing and communications strategy across key markets. Prior to joining Mediolanum, she held senior marketing roles at T.Rowe Price and Morningstar.

Richard Osborne has been appointed as an Executive Director at Plenary’s European office in London. Plenary is an independent investor and manager of public infrastructure. Osborne, who has over 20 years of experience in civil and social infrastructure, previously served as Senior VP at Macquarie Capital. He led Macquarie Capital’s PPP investments in Ireland and worked on €4bn of project finance investments and public-private partnerships in Ireland, the UK, and the EU. Osborne is also a chartered civil engineer.

Brian Lynggaard has been appointed as Managing Director at Rentokil Initial Ireland, following the retirement of Michael O’Mahoney after 45 years of service. Lynggaard will oversee Irish operations across pest control, commercial hygiene, and interior landscaping services. With previous experience as MD for Denmark and operations director for Initial Washroom Hygiene in the UK, Lynggaard brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. He holds a degree in Economics, a Masters in International Business, and an MBA.
