Dublin Weather Alert: Prepare for a Hot and Showery Week, says Met Eireann

Dublin Wakes Up to Sunny Skies After Storm Betty

Dublin residents can expect a stunning morning today as the city basks in blue skies and calm conditions following the aftermath of Storm Betty. Met Eireann has forecasted lovely sunshine, although there may be some showers throughout the day. Temperatures will remain sizzling, ranging from the high teens to low-20s over the next few days. Today, we can expect a mix of sunshine and showers, with the possibility of heavy rainfall in the afternoon. The highest temperatures will reach around 20 to 23 degrees. Tonight, the sky will be clear, but isolated showers may still occur. Temperatures will range from 13 to 16 degrees.

Tomorrow’s forecast predicts more sunshine and showers, with temperatures reaching their peak at 20 to 22 degrees. Although there is no specific forecast for Dublin, the national forecast indicates that rain will move eastwards across the country on Monday night. Overnight temperatures will range from 12 to 15 degrees, accompanied by light to moderate southwest winds. Tuesday and Wednesday will see a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, occasionally merging into longer spells of rain. The highest temperatures during these days will range from 17 to 21 degrees, with overnight temperatures dropping to 10 or 11 degrees. Southwest breezes will prevail.

On Thursday, showers or longer spells of rain are expected, turning heavy and persistent for a period of time. The highest temperatures will range from 16 to 18 degrees, with moderate west to northwest winds. However, conditions will turn clearer later in the day, with mainly dry weather overnight. Lowest temperatures will range from 9 to 11 degrees.
