Father and Son Killed in Tragic Moped Accident in Turkey
Eoin Fitzpatrick (36) and his son Dylan (10), both from Portlaoise, Co Laois, tragically lost their lives in a devastating accident while on holiday in Alanya, Turkey. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, just hours before they were scheduled to return home. The father and son were riding a moped when they collided with a bus, resulting in their untimely deaths.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, a charity that assists in the repatriation of Irish citizens who have died abroad, played a crucial role in bringing Eoin and Dylan’s bodies back to Ireland. The trust provided support and guidance to the grieving family during this difficult time.
