Gardaí, along with the Armed Support Unit, conducted a successful operation last night, resulting in the arrest of a man who was reportedly in possession of a firearm. The incident took place on a train near Templemore Train Station in Co Tipperary at approximately 6.50pm yesterday evening. It is believed that the train involved was the Dublin to Cork service.
