Race Against Time: €40,000 Lotto Jackpot Awaits Mystery Winner – Deadline Looms!

Date:

Westmeath Lotto Winner Urged to Claim €40,000 Prize

A lucky Lotto player from Westmeath has just two days left to claim their prize of €40,000. If they fail to come forward before the close of business on Friday, they will no longer be eligible to receive their winnings. The winning ticket was sold on April 1 at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar.

The player managed to match five out of the seven winning numbers, earning them the substantial prize. Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, and the National Lottery is now urging players to carefully check their old tickets.

The winning numbers for the draw were 11, 24, 27, 34, 42, 44, with a bonus number of 15. In a final appeal, a spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “We are eager to hear from the Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 player who won €40,000 in the April 1 draw. With just two days left until the claim deadline, we are appealing to all of our players who may have purchased a ticket at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar for that particular draw to carefully check their old tickets. There is a Westmeath winner out there who may get a surprise to see that their ticket is actually worth €40,000.”

The spokesperson added, “The claim deadline is fast approaching this Friday, June 30th. If you are the winner, you should sign the back of your ticket and contact our prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for you to claim your prize.”

It is worth noting that there has been a significant amount of unclaimed winnings in 2021, with audited figures showing over €17 million left unclaimed. When a prize expires, it must be utilized for the promotion of the National Lottery. Typically, around 2% of ticket sales remain unclaimed in any given year.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery stated, “The National Lottery makes every effort to ensure all prizes are claimed, especially those in the higher tiers. We promote unclaimed prizes in local and national media, on our own digital channels, and in-store nationwide to enhance the prospect of unclaimed prizes being collected.”

Time is running out for the Westmeath Lotto winner to claim their €40,000 prize. With just two days left, it is crucial that players check their old tickets and contact the National Lottery to secure their winnings. Don’t miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime!
