The paid versions include a starter plan priced at $9 per month, which grants users 2,500 queries for the month. The boost plan, which costs $19 a month, ups that to 8,000 queries per month. Finally, the elite plan, with a price tag of $39 per month, offers an unlimited number of queries.
To access Monica, users can press Ctrl+M on their keyboard, which triggers the interface to pop up as a sidebar on the left. There are two types of queries available: chat mode and compose mode. Chat mode allows users to post a series of questions, while compose mode lets users ask Monica to write something for them. With compose mode, users can control the type of response they receive by selecting a length, format, tone, and language. Once users have chosen their preferred mode, they can type or speak their query and wait for Monica’s response.
Monica displays the response and users can rate the answer by giving it a thumbs up or thumbs down. They can also edit the text to fine-tune it, and share or copy the response. Additionally, Monica points users to a history of their chats, so they can refer back to any previous conversations. Users can also modify the shortcut, sidebar, and other elements through the Settings page.
It is important to note that Monica is not the only chatbot extension available. Bing, for example, offers a similar service. However, there are some differences between the two. For example, Bing’s chatbot is triggered by pressing the Enter key, while Monica is activated by pressing Ctrl+M. Additionally, Bing’s chatbot does not offer a compose mode like Monica does.
