Dubliners are in for a treat as the sunny weather continues to grace the city with temperatures as high as 22C. According to Met Eireann, the good weather will persist late into next week, with no end in sight. However, temperatures will be limited to 14C to 15C today, and it will feel cold if not in direct sunlight.
It’s important to protect your skin from UV rays during this sunny spell. Here are some tips to keep in mind: apply sunscreen with a high SPF, wear a hat and sunglasses, seek shade during the hottest parts of the day, and stay hydrated.
Met Eireann’s forecast for today reads: “A dry and sunny day today. Highest temperatures of 14 or 15 degrees in a light to moderate northeasterly breeze.” Sunday night will be dry with largely clear skies, with lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in light northeasterly winds.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be dry and mainly sunny days, with temperatures ranging from 17 to 22 degrees. The eastern coasts will experience slightly cooler temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees due to a light to moderate easterly breeze. The nights will remain dry and clear, with overnight temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees.
The latter half of next week is expected to be dominated by high pressure, which means that the sunny weather will continue. Temperatures will reach the high teens or low twenties, and it will remain dry with spells of sunshine.
