A couple has managed to transform their garden into a luxurious outdoor kitchen for just £150. Robyn, who is known online as @the_house_acc, shared the DIY project with her 226,500 followers on TikTok. The couple decided to build a wooden kitchen around their barbecue, in an unused corner of their patio. Robyn’s partner cut decking boards to size and created two pillar frames to sit either side of the barbecue as the base. The rest of the structure was built using the decking boards. Robyn then painted the entire thing in a charcoal grey paint. The finished structure was completed with a bargain ceramic sink from eBay, which doubles up as an ice bucket when they’re hosting, and a pizza oven.
The video gained more than 4,900 likes and 146,000 views on TikTok. Fans loved the budget DIY project, and some vowed to attempt the same in their gardens. The added extras of the project, such as the ceramic sink and pizza oven, caught people’s attention.
